More specifically, we need a Carrier Sales Operation Specialist!

Founded in 2008, Liberty Technology offers Managed IT services, Collaboration, Internet access and telecom, technology product sales, phone systems, and technical consulting for the South Atlanta metro area and beyond‐‐basically, we help businesses stay connected in every possible sense. We are looking for a dedicated Carrier Sales Operation Specialist that holds our passion of Advancing Freedom Through Technology.

So, what does a Carrier Sales Operation Specialist do?

You will be responsible for communicationwith the customer and carrier service provider to manage expectations.You will participate in client meetings to understand their service and bandwidth needs, reviewing network plans to determine best product, prepare or review technical specifications to fulfill carrier service installation and porting requirements, contract documents, and estimates.You will be coordinating installs with end users, carrier vendors and Liberty Technology technicians.

In this role, you will represent our company as the “Voice of Liberty” by coordinating and managing service delivery resources involved in the process. This includes but is not limited to scheduling and coordination with clients, vendors, and Liberty.

Things you will do a lot of:

  • Enter and process orders and quote requests
  • Direct and coordinate activities of Engineers and Technicians to ensure project progress is staying on schedule and within budget
  • Oversee creation and updating of project tracking using company tools
  • Identify possible issues and escalate to appropriate contacts for resolution
  • Communicate daily through email and via phone with carrier vendors, project team members, and clients
  • Work with partners on post-install requests such as billing inquiries, maintenance requests, and service impacting issues
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and computer literate

What you bring to the table:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree. We consider your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual
  • 3-5 years' worth of relevant project management experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to coordinate simultaneous projects from inception to completion
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and project management skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to self-motivate, both for task completion and knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Persistence and ability to push items through to completion

The icing on the cake:

  • Technical knowledge of voice, data, and networking
  • Developed negotiation skills
  • PMP certification or master's degree in project management
  • Experience with Cisco technology products and services
